This image was my entry in the "The journey begins" cgtalk contest. It is based on a children's book my girlfriend is writing about two kids discovering their little village. The boy is a cartoonized younger version of myself and consequently the girl a younger version of my girlfriend. I implemented a lot of those funny details which made working on the image even more fun. I like the extreme color brightness, and the happymess inside the image.
